The Saskatchewan Publishers Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Saskatchewan book publishers and promoting Saskatchewan-published resources. The SPG offers:
  • A number of Programs from marketing, display, and sales to Professional Development;
  • Read Saskatchewan catalogue of Members' books;
  • Support and resources for emerging publishers;
  • Bi-monthly newsletter featuring industry news & current events;
  • Listing on the SPG website and in the SPG's online bookstore
SPG is not a book publisher! If you are a writer looking for information on how to have your manuscript published, please contact your local writers' guild. In Saskatchewan, you can get in touch with the Saskatchewan Writers Guild - they provide advice, services, mentorship, competitions, and resources for writers. EPIC WIN!

Saskatchewan publishers took home nine of thirteen of the Saskatchewan Book Awards, which were presented at the SBA Gala on Saturday, 28th April at Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. But rather than try to wax eloquent about how awesome this is, we thought just showing you the books and telling you what they won is a pretty good idea.

Saskatchewan Scholars

We’ve launched a new program at the Book Fair at Congress 2011. The Saskatchewan Scholars series is a photographic essay being published on Facebook. It highlights scholars who are from Saskatchewan, who studied in Saskatchewan, who taught in a Saskatchewan University, or just anyone who comes into our 10×10 booth space (which we have annexed in the name of Saskatchewan fir the duration of the Book Fair).
